Radio Rozana is an independent Syrian community media that primarily broadcasts news and information about the Syrian conflict and its impact on the region. The aim is to provide a platform for unbiased reporting and to give voice to the different perspectives in Syria.

Rozana media outlet helps to empower people in conflict-affected zones, especially in Syria, by giving them access to independent and diverse news and information. This enables people to make informed decisions, participate in discussions, and better understand the complex situations around them. Through unbiased reporting and representing diverse voices, Rozana aims to empower people to participate in shaping their communities and stand up for their rights in the midst of difficult circumstances.

It can help marginalized groups, women, minorities, and people facing various challenges to overcome obstacles, advocate for their rights, and actively participate in social, economic, and political life.

Lina Chawaf is a Syrian journalist in exile since 2011. She is CEO of Radio Rozana, an independent Syrian media based in Paris. She will share her experience from Syria and other conflict areas like Yemen, Libya, Sudan and others. She is talking about what it is like to be a female journalist in a conflict zone fighting for economic, social and legal empowerment of women through community media.

Lina Chawaf ist eine syrische Journalistin, die seit 2011 im Exil lebt. Sie ist Geschäftsführerin von Radio Rozana, einem unabhängigen syrischen Medium mit Sitz in Paris. Sie wird ihre Erfahrungen aus Syrien und anderen Konfliktgebieten wie Jemen, Libyen, Sudan und anderen Ländern mit uns teilen. Sie wird darüber sprechen, wie es ist, als Journalistin in einem Konfliktgebiet für die wirtschaftliche, soziale und rechtliche Stärkung der Frauen durch Community-Medien zu kämpfen.
